Children’s Church

Easter-Egg-Hunt“Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.’” — Matthew 19:14 (NIV)
Before the reading of the lessons the children will be invited to come forward for a children message. All children (young and young at heart) and their parents are invited to come forward. Following the message, during the school year, the children will be invited to follow the Sunday School leader upstairs to explore what Jesus has done for them. They will return to the sanctuary after the sermon to commune and worship with their families.

Holy Communion

All are welcome to join us for Holy Communion. The table around which we gather is the Lord’s Table and the hospitality we offer is the Lord”s own invitation and welcome. Generally, communion will be given at the head of the isle, where you will be given a piece of bread. Then, you will be invited to take of the wine in the common cup, or of the individual cup with the wine (red) lining the outer rows of the communion try or grape juice (white) in the center. If you would prefer a blessing instead, please come forward and cross your arms. For those who are physically unable to come through the communion line, please indicate to the usher that you would like to commune and it will be brought to you.
